Historic Rock Hill is brewing some fun for Historic Rock Hill’s first largest single-day craft beer festival…
Presented by Historic Rock Hill and The Main St Bottle Shop, the 1st annual Tap The Rock Craft Beer Festival will bring together more than 30 craft breweries and beer enthusiasts to bond over their common love of beer at Rock Hill’s largest single-day craft beer festival.
Being held on Saturday, September 24 from 1-5:00p.m., Tap The Rock will showcase some of the most interesting & unique craft beers for all to sample – featuring rare beers made specially for festival VIP’s.  Food trucks will also be onsite serving up some of the South’s tastiest savory fare and the crowds will be entertained by live musical talents.


Each $50 general admission ticket includes admittance to our craft beer sampling area, where you’ll receive tasting samples from some of the best craft breweries in the country.  For $75, you can purchase a VIP ticket, which includes early admission at noon, a catered lunch on the lawn in a private setting separate from the general sampling area, exclusive rare beer tastings, a guided tour of the White Home.  Plus, the commemorative sampling glass is for all festival attendees to keep.

Tuck Fest is a three-day festival that celebrates the outdoor lifestyle through competitions, exhibitions, demos, and live music at the U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC). The festival features a variety of outdoor sport competitions that include trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, and adventure racing. The name “Tuck Fest” comes from the Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail, a historical landmark located at the USNWC.

In its fourth year, Tuck Fest continues to grow and be rooted in the overall outdoor experience, giving guests of all ages and skill levels the chance to try something new. It’s about being active by taking part in a competition or simply enjoying the music and atmosphere. Featuring over 20 competitions in and around the river as well as live bands and participation from leaders in the outdoor industry, the festival invites athletes, spectators, and musicians to celebrate the outdoor lifestyle.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Charlotte’s Creative Loafing will host its first annual craft beer and burger festival April 11, 2015.

The Moo & Brew Craft Beer and Burger Festival will take place on the festival grounds of the NC Music Factory, home to the annual Charlotte Oktoberfest beer festival. Moo & Brew will offer samplings from 40 breweries, as well as tastes from local restaurants vying for the title of “Creative Loafing’s Best Burger.” Renowned California-based Stone Brewing Co. will be the key beer sponsor.

“As the Queen City's news, arts and entertainment paper of record, Creative Loafing has championed Charlotte's craft beer scene since it first started bubbling,” notes Amy Mularski, Creative Loafing’s sales manager. “It and the local food scene are important components in our mission of being the go-to source for all things cool, fresh and authentic. We're excited to celebrate all of that with this inaugural festival.”

There will be a VIP session (12:30 p.m.-2 p.m.) that will feature special releases and beers from each brewery, with a General Admission open tasting session to follow (2 p.m.-6 p.m.). Only 500 VIPs will be sold which also includes burger tastings ($65) and GA ($45).

Queen City Brewers Festival (QCBF) is a fundraiser for ACEing Autism, whose mission is to make the sport of tennis available to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).  The event will take place Saturday, February 6, 2016.  QCBF will feature Charlotte-area breweries and brewpubs, craft beer-focused food & beverage exhibitors, sponsors and local artists.
The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to autism and specifically the ACEing Autism program while spotlighting Charlotte’s emerging craft breweries and craft beer-centric establishments.

What is the North Carolina Brewers Celebration?

An event celebrating the growth of craft beer in North Carolina – where it’s been, where it is today, and where the future is headed. The North Carolina Brewers Celebration will give attendees a comprehensive look inside the North Carolina beer scene.

– Brewers from each brewery will be pouring the beer.

– The event will showcase the state’s oldest breweries, newest breweries, the largest and smallest and everywhere in between.

– Breweries creating specific styles will be represented. Examples include Haw River Farmhouse Ales brewing farmhouse style beer; Highland Brewing Co. focusing on Scottish Ales; and Weeping Radish Restaurant & Brewery brewing German style beer

– Specialty beer bars will sample beer from breweries that are not already pouring!

– Local hop & grain farmers will be on hand to educate attendees on the ingredients that go into beer.

– Learn about the industry surrounding the craft. The North Carolina Brewers Celebration will feature farmers, growers, equipment manufacturers and homebrew supply stores

Lake Norman Beerfest

This year’s Lake Norman Beerfest will be held 5-9pm on Saturday, May 23rd, 2015, with exclusive VIP sampling from 4-5pm, at the Galway Hooker in Cornelius, NC.

What would a beerfest be without great music? We’ve got that covered with two of the best local bands performing to keep the party rockin’ all night long! The main stage will feature music by Gump Fiction (5:30-7pm) and headline act Joystick (7:30-9:30pm).

Lake Norman Beerfest is proud to partner with our two local charities, the USO of North Carolina and Ace & TJs Grin Kids Children’s Charity. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket purchased will be donated to each cause.
